1. 5273 CHARTHAM BOLTS HILL Deanery Cottage TR 1055 29/228 17.10.74. II GV 2. Probably built by Prior Goldstone II after 1494 for the 'firmarius'. C15 timber-framed banding with infilling of roughcast, part of the ground floor close studded and part rebuilt in red brick. The end window bays of the first floor oversail on the protruding ends of the floor joists, but the south one has been partly underbuilt. Curved braces support the eaves of the recessed centre. Hipped tiled roof with smoke gablets. External brick chimneystack to north-west. Three windows. The sides and back are of red brick. The interior has a crownpost roof. Listing NGR: TR1010055034
