2. Timber-framed, probably C15 building.  Remains of a hall-house, the hall and service end remaining, the parlour end rebuilt.  The whole of the ground floor has been rebuilt in brick, now painted.  The first floor of the southernmost window bay oversails on the protruding ends of the floor joists and is close-studded with curved braces.  Above it is a weather-boarded gable also oversailing and containing an attic window.  The portion to the north of this is of one storey and attic only with 2 gabled dormers.  Doorcase with fanlight, having a 4-centred head.
