2. Circa 1385 and later. This was originally a 2 bay open-hall and the third bay was added at a later stage. Timber-framed building with plaster infilling and diagonal braces on first floor, the ground floor rebuilt in red brick in the C18. Some close-studding is visible. Steeply-pitched hipped thatched roof with central chimneystack. Two casement windows. The interior oontains 2 inglenook fireplaces, upright posts with jouls and a crow post roof, having one moulded octagonal-shaped post and one which has been cut down. Grade II* as a rare exaaple of a C14 2 bay hall-house.
