Cottage pair.  C17, clad in C18.  Timber-framed with red and blue brick ground floor and weatherboarded first floor.   Plain tiled half hipped roof with central brick ridge stack and 2 hipped dormers.  Baffle entry plan.  2 storeys and attics.  Regular 3 window front, C20 wooden casements.  Central entrance with door surround, against stack, with doors to left, (Beryl Cottage), and right,  (Ruby Cottage).   Deep catslide extension to rear with timber frame exposed in gable.  Later wings to rear.
