                            MOUNT SION 1. 1746                                            (North Side)                                            Nos 19 and 21                                            (Caxton House) TQ 5838 NW 1/26            24.11.66. II                         GV 2. Circa 1840.  3 storeys and semi-basement painted brick.  Eaves cornice. 6 sashes with some glazing bars intact.  Iron balcony on 1st floor.  Porch below with 3 fluted columns approached by 2 curved flights of steps.  2 doorcases with rectangular fanlights.  Massive ashlar and brick chimney breast on the west side, presumably from an older house. Nos 9 to 29 (odd) form a group.
