18/365 Pair of headstones about 10 to 12 metres west of Church of St Laurence GV II
Pair of headstones. John Gurr, d.1745. Stone, about 3 feet high. Raised and fielded inscription panel with raised segmental headed, with enriched scrolled shoulders to segmental cornice. Head with crudely executed recumbent putti. James ? d.1766, about 2½ feet high, with simple inscription panel, and pedestal shoulders with flaming torches, and scrolled cornice. Head with cherub's head, all-seeing eye, cloudburst, opening coffin and snake biting its tail.
