Wooden boarded doors cover a flight of steps within brick retaining walls, descending to the domed pump-chamber, with a brick-lined arched tunnel leading off to the south-west to Bedgebury Park House. The pump machinery still fully extant and inscribed: Easton 25 Victoria St London. The 4 inch rain pump supplied water to the fountain, stable court and bothy at Bedgebury Park.
