Description

GOUDHURST CHURCH ROAD TQ 7237-7337 (south side) 15/120 Group of 4 Chest Tombs about 5-10 metres south west of Church of St Mary GV II Group of 4 chest tombs. Early C18. Stone. Four similar chests made of monoli- thic stones, with moulded bases and crudely executed urn-shaped corner pieces and panelled sides to moulded top slabs. Incised inscriptions on all 4, but now worn and illegible. Listing NGR: TQ7237637798
