CRANBROOK THE STREET, (NORTH TQ 7837-7937 SIDE), SISSINGHURST 8/249 Nos 1-4 (incl), 20.6.67 Reed's Cottages GV II
Cloth hall, now cottage row. C16, altered in later C18. Timber-framed with red and blue brick cladding on ground floor and tile-hanging on first floor. Plain tiled roof. Tall brick and stacks and larger brick stack in centre. Two storeys. Regular fenestration of 7 two- and three-light casements on first floors, alternating in rhythm of 3-2-3-2-3-2-3, with 4 3-light casements on ground floor, 2 casements at each end and 2 flanking centre. Boarded doors with small flat hoods over towards each end and pained in centre. Five half-hipped gables to rear.
