CRANBROOK HIGH STREET TQ 7735 NW (south side) 11/157 20.6.67 The Abbey GV II
Cloth hall, now house. C16 with C19 alterations. Timber framed on red brick plinth and tile hung. Hipped plain tiled roof. Tall brick ridge stack off- centre to left, and brick end stacks to projecting right hand wing. Gabled dormer on left hand slope of roof. L-plan with projecting wing to right. 2 storeys and attic. Irregular 3 window front, casements, in 2 storey gabled and plastered bay on left return front of right hand wing.
