BENENDEN TQ73SE MILL STREET 1350-0/2/62 (North West side) Eaglesden II House. 2 parallel ranges, Front range probably C17 refronted in C19, rear range C15 partly refronted in early C19. Front frange is tile hung with hipped-tiled roof and off central brick chimneystack. 2 storeys and attics, 4 windows. C19 casements with leaded lights to 1st floor and square bays to ground floor. C19 gabled brick, glazed and tiled porch with resited Jacobean carved wooden grotesque brackets. Rear range is timberframed with continuous jetty and framing, including curved tension bracing exposed with plaster infill to left hand side. Ground floor of right hand side red brick with some grey headers and tile hung 1st floor. Hipped old tiled roof with off central brick chimneystack. 2:3 casement windows. Listing NGR: TQ7991030972
