HAWKHURST HIGH STREET TQ 73 SW (north side) 9/349 Pithall Cottage GV II House, now house pair. Early C18 or earlier. Timber framed and clad with red brick on ground floor, in part in English garden wall bond, and weather-boarded on first floor with tile hanging to return elevations. Plain tiled roof. Originally lobby entry plan house of 5 bays. Two storeys, with stack cluster to centre right, and stack to rear wing. Five wooden casements on first floor, and 4 on ground floor. Boarded doors to right return and in single storey extension to left return. Listing NGR: TQ7504130644
