HAWKHURST HIGH STREET TQ 7430-7530 (north side) 16/344 Nos 4 and 5 Iddenden Cottages GV II House pair. Early C18. Timber framed and weather-boarded with plain tiled roof. Two storeys on brick plinth, part rendered to half-hipped roof, with central stack. Regular fenestration of 5 wooden casements to first floor and 4 on ground floor, with extra casement to left in single storey extension. Paired boarded doors to centre with common flat hood on brackets. Catslide outshot. A very similar and roughly contemporary build to Nos 1-3 Iddenden Cottages adjacent. Listing NGR: TQ7491730673
