Description

TQ 56 43 BIDBOROUGH HIGH STREET (east side) 11/9 Garden chest tomb about 13m north of the vestry of the Church of St Lawrence GV II Chest tomb. Probably 1880s. Black polished granite. A plain rectangular chest on a tall plinth and base; heavy chains surround the chest, slung between chunky iron corner posts. Inscriptions commemorate Robert Garden, died 1826 and other members of the family. Listing NGR: TQ5651843216
