SANDHURST TQ82NW RYE ROAD (OFF) 1350-0/6/231 (South side) 20/06/67 Boxhurst (Formerly Listed as: RYE ROAD Boxhurst Farmhouse) GV II House, formerly farmhouse. Late C17 or early C18 with C19 alterations. Red brick with grey headers to ground floor and tile hung to 1st floor. Tiled roof with end brick chimneystacks. 2 storeys and attics; 3 windows, 2 hipped dormers with C20 casements. Large C20 mullioned and transomed casements and large left side gabled weatherporch. C20 addition in timberframing. Brickwork and tilehanging to north and south ends and N.W. end. Interior has chambered spine beam and inglenook fireplace with 2 recesses. Pump dated 1804.
