Description

SANDHURST TQ82NW QUEEN STREET 1350-0/6/158 Nos.1-2 05/11/90 Little Crouch GV II House, now sub-divided. Mainly C18 but incorporating some late C16 beams. Ground floor of red brick in Flemish bond, 1st floor has 1 course of curved tiles to 2 of plain. Side elevation weatheboarded. Old tiled roof and end brick stacks (the right hand one external). 2 storeys; 3 windows. 1 early C19 20-pane sash, the others C20 aluminium casements. Central doorcase with gabled weather hood on brackets. Lean to to side with 20-pane sash. Interior of No 1 has a large open fire-place with wooden bressumer. Wooden cross beam with lamb's tongue stop and 2 panelled door of C18 type. Kitchen has end of hall roll-moulded beam with run out stop. Probably not in situ and plank doors. No 2 has C18 2-panel doors with L hinge, chamfered C18 beams and C19 kitchen range. Listing NGR: TQ8029028263
