BENENDEN TQ8031 STANDEN STREET 1350-0/8/105 (East side) Summerhill GV II House. C16 lobby entrance house refronted in C19 and restored in C20. Timberframed building refronted in red brick on ground floor and tile hung on 1st floor. Tiled roof, hipped to left and half-hipped to right with central tall brick chimneystack. 2 storeys and attics; 4 windows. 1st floor has mainly C20 casements. Ground floor has 2 canted bays and gabled porch. C20 extensions to rear. Interior has dining room with roll moulded spine beam and cross beams, some with run out stops, some with bar stops and open fireplace. C16 floorboards. Reroofed in C18.
