HAWKHURST RYE ROAD TQ 7630-7730 (north side) 17/409 Little Fowlers GV II House. Early C19 or earlier, altered and extended mid C19. Rendered, with tile hung rear range on red brick ground floor. Plain tiled roofs. Front: 2 storeys and attic with 2 full gables to left and to right with pierced bargeboards and with stacks to end left and to end right. Regular fenestration of mullioned case- ments in gables, on first floor of 3, 2 and 3-lights and 2 on ground floor of 2-lights with cornices. Central doubled panelled doors in gabled porch with pierced bargeboards. Gabled wing at end left of 1 storey, also with pierced bargeboards, and with fully glazed gabled conservatory on rendered base, with arcaded windows and pierced bargeboards. Right return wing of 2 storeys and attic, with central gable, 2 gabled dormers, 3 sashes on first floor, and tripartite sashes on ground floor. Listing NGR: TQ7687030376
