LAMBERHURST HIGH STREET TQ 6636-6736 (south east side) 8/175 Mill building, now F. Hawkins & Sons Ltd. premises GV II Mill building. Late C19. Timber framed and weather boarded an red brick base with corrugated iron roof. Three storeys. Roadside with wooden casement on second floor, two loft doors on first floor (with outline of removed gabled extension) and later outshot on ground floor. Right return with two 7 light casements on second floor, three large multi-pane windows on first floor, that to centre in sliding door, and three on ground floor, that to right in sliding door. Left return with 3 multi-pane windows on each floor. Formerly a joinery works, and probably built as a saw mill. Included for group value. Listing NGR: TQ6748636112
