7/436 Anonymous headstone approx 5m south of the porch of the Church of St Martin GV II
Triple headstone. Circa 1762 in memory of members of the same family (surname not noted). Broad upright sandstone slab standing approx 500mm high. It has a triple-headed shaped top, each carved with the same motif; a winged cherub head with rosettes over crossed trumpets. 3 inscriptions. Each begins in Gothic lettering followed by Roman serif upper and lower case lettering. The surname of the deceased was not noted but from left to right the panels record the deaths of the infant Thomas in 1756, Mary in 1760 and Elizabeth in 1762.
