CRANBROOK CAMDEN HILL, (EAST TQ 73 NE SIDE), Sissidghurst 3/36 - Little Nut Hall - II
Cottage, now house. Early C16 with early C20 alterations. Timber-framed and plastered with mock-timbering on ground floor and tile-hanging on first floor. Plain tiled roof, hipped with gablet to right, with large red brick ridge stack and C1930 hipped cross-wing to left. Two storeys; irregular fenestration of one window on first floor to left and 2 windows on ground floor. Wood-framed diamond lattice casement. Lean-to outshot to left, partly masked by tall extension of circa 1930. Entrance at angle cut into right-hand corner behind C1930 hipped weather-porch. Circa 1930 extensions to rear. Interior: Much evidence of substantial timber-frame. Inserted chimney breast.
