ROCHESTER STAR HILL TQ 7468 SW 10/245 No 10 23.8.74 GV II House, now offices. Late C18. Flemish bond red brick, weatherboarded to rear; Kent title and Welsh slate hipped roofs. End stacks to front range; double-depth plan. 3 storeys. Front: symmetrical 3-window range. Parapet with stone coping and cornice band. 1st and 2nd floors have 2 tripartite 4:12:4 sashes to each side of central 12-pane sash, all in reveals under rubbed brick flat arches. Ground floor has 2 canted bays with plate glass horned sashes, late C19. Replacement 2-leaf door under fanlight with glazing bars recessed under round headed arch of 2 orders with imposts. Return to Victoria Street with early-C19 panel door and overlight.
