Description
1. 5272 EGERTON CROCKEN HILL ROAD Old Harrow Farmhouse TQ 94 NW 9/39 17.9.52 II 2. C16 or earlier timber-framed and close-studded building on a stone base with plaster infilling colour-washed yellow, the first floor oversailing on a moulded bressumer and brackets. Steeply-pitched hipped tiled roof. Two bays on ground floor containing casement windows of 2 tiers of 6-lights with wooden mullions and transoms, each flanked by small narrow windows at the level of the upper tier. Two similar oriel windows above, projecting on brackets and similarly flanked, and one other window in the centre.
