Details This list entry was subject to a Minor Amendment on 18 April 2024 to update the name and address and to reformat the text to current standards TR 0653-0753 7/6 CHILHAM THE SQUARE (north-west side) No 2, The Church Mouse (Formerly listed as No 2, previously listed as The Copper Kettle, (previously listed as No. 2 Haddon Cottage) 13.10.52 GV II House, now restaurant. C17, restored. Early C20 after fire restored timber frame, exposed with plaster infill, and under built in red brick. Two storeys, jettied first floor, gabled roof with end stack to left. 3 wooden casements to first floor. Large wooden mullioned window to right on ground floor, brick two-light mullioned window plinth label over. Central board and stud door in chamfered doorway with label over.
