1. 5272 BETHERSDEN SNOAD HILL Snoad Hill Farmhouse TQ 94 SW 14/50 14.2.67 II 2. C18. Two storeys and attics in gable end. Painted brick. Half-hipped tiled roof, 4 casement windows with round-headed lights, known locally as Dering windows since they were inserted in all the farmhouses and cottages on the estate of Surrenden Dering in the adjoining Parish of Pluckley, probably by Sir Edward Cholmeley Dering, 8th Baronet (1807-1896), who owned the estate from 1811-96. C19 gabled porch.
