Half-hipped tiled roof, 4 casement windows with round-headed lights, known locally as Dering windows since they were inserted in all the farmhouses and cottages on the estate of Surrenden Dering in the adjoining Parish of Pluckley, probably by Sir Edward Cholmeley Dering, 8th Baronet (1807-1896), who owned the estate from 1811-96.
