Description
                            WOODCHURCH                 SWAIN ROAD 1. 5272                                                 Robhurst (formerly                                                 listed as Little Robhurst) TQ 93 SW 9/570               16.8.62. II*
2. Timber-framed building, C16 or earlier probably of Wealden type with plaster infilling and curved braces, the ground floor rebuilt in red brick.  The first floor of the south-westernmost window bay was probably once jettied but has been underbuilt and is now weatherboarded.  The eaves of the remainder of the house overhang with a cove beneath them and are supported on a bracket at the south-west end.  Two storeys.  Steeply-pitched hipped tiled roof with pentice at the north-east end.  Three casement windows, mostly with small square leaded panes.  The interior contains an inglenook fireplace and the remains of the dais bean.
