2. A large house circa 1760. 3 storeys brown brick with red brick relieving arches. The centre portion of 3 windows projects slightly. Wooden cornice with modillions. Brick parapet with pediment in this above the central portion of the house, with an oval window in the tympanum. 2 stuccoed stringcourses above ground floor. 7 sashes with glazing bars intact, Doorcase has fluted Ionic columns, pediment and 6 panelled moulded door. Plinth. 2 footscrapers. Large C19 addition of 2 storeys to the North with a strip between containing the side doorway of the house which has fluted pilasters, projecting cornice and double doors of 4 panels each, with 1 window above the door. On the . garden side a large curved bay of 3 windows has been added in the early Cl9 at the west end of the front. The interior has a good staircase having scrolled tread ends and alternate spiral and plain balusters. Panelled hall and the ground floor has a room with panelling and plaster moulded cornucopia. Early Victorian mantelpiece with surround of Delft tiles.
