NONINGTON MILL LANE TR 25 SE (north side) 3/149 TallChimneys and No.9 II Cottage pair. 1878-9. George Devey for William Oxenden Hammond. Dressed stone and red brick with blue diapers with roughcast and exposed framed upper sections. St.Albans Court estate style. One storey and attic with projecting double jettied gables to right and to left return. Continuous jetty with moulded bressumer on corbelled brackets. Stacks projecting at end right and to front left. Two storey bay to centre left. Oriel windows on each floor of right hand gable, mullioned windows in bay. Central four centred arched rib and stud door, and also on right return,replacing one blocked on left side of gable.
