Description

NONINGTON FROGHAM TR 25 SE Rose Cottages 3/129 (Nos. 1 and 2) II Cottage pair Dated 1720 and extended c.1800. Red brick and plain tiled roof. Originally a 3 bay lobby entry house plan. One storey and attic on plinth with 3 gabled dormers and stack to centre right. Three segmentally headed windows with flying plat cornices, the 2 to left with Gothick traceried metal casements and wooden casement to right. Half glazed door to centre right in gabled porch with round headed doorway. Extended at end left and end right by single bay 2 storey blocks making a hipped roof with additional stack to left with 1 wooden casement on each floor and boarded door to left. Datestone to centre inscribed: P T K 1720. Listing NGR: TR2560850363
