Description

TILMANSTONE UPPER STREET TR 35 SW (East side) Church House (formerly 4/120 listed as Church Cottage) 11.10.63 GV House. Dated 1702 and restored late C20. Red brick and plain tiled roof. Two storeys and attic on plinth with plat band and boxed eaves to roof hipped to right, half-hipped to left. Central stack and 2 hipped dormers. Regular fenestration of 4 glazing bar sashes on each floor, with segmental heads on ground floor. Central boarded door in moulded surround with good C20 pedimented doorcase. Stone plaques above the door inscribed: H and ER (C20 plaque). R S 1702 Listing NGR: TR3018451284
