Description

TR 103 295 DYMCHURCH HIGH STREET (west side) 4/59 No.119 (Well Cottage) No.121 (Cedar Dairies) II House, now house row. Right cross-wing late C16 or early C17, left section of possibly similar date, all with early C19 facade. Wing, and possibly the rest, heavily timber framed. Ground floor clad with painted brick, first floor with painted tile-hanging. Plain tile roof. Main range, with cross-wing to right. 2 storeys and attic. Hipped roof, right hip returning along rear wing with lower eaves and higher ridge. Rear of wing half-hipped. No visible stack. 2 hipped dormers. Irregular fenestration of two 12-pane glazing bar sashes. Half-glazed door to No.119 to left. Panelled door to No.121 at left end of a single storey C19 shop to right of wing. Single storey addition to left. Interior: only No.121 (cross-wing) inspected. Exposed timbers, some chamfer-stopped. Listing NGR: TR1028829537
