TR 14 SE ACRISE - 4/7 Court Cottage (formerly listed 29.12.66 as Courts Cottage) II House. Late C16 or early C17, with C18 front elevation and later alterations Front elevation red and grey brick in Flemish bond. Gable ends late C16 or early C17 red brick in English bond. Right end of rear elevation brick in Flemish bond to ground floor, tile-hung above. Plain tile roof. 2 storeys and garret. Rendered plinth to front elevation, brick plinth to gable ends. Plat band to front elevation. Boxed eaves. Front wall-plate with soffit mortice visible towards left end. Gabled roof. Projecting late C16 or early C17 brick gable-end stacks with irregular offsets; that to left on flint plinth with stone quoins and chamfered stone top, and with two flues on a corniced rectangular upper plinth. Irregular fenestration of 3 two-light casements; one to left and two to right of door. Ground- floor windows have top lights and segmental heads. Blocked windows with shaped brick architraves to right gable end; two single-light attic windows, two two-light first-floor windows with hollow-chamfered brick mullions, and two single-light windows to ground floor. One similar two-light brick window to first floor of left gable end, to rear of stack. Boarded door with segmental head, behind open timber porch to left of centre. Two- storey brick rear wing to left, with much lower ridge and with roof hipped to rear. Rear lean-to between wing and point towards right end of main range. Interior not inspected.
