TR 14 SE ELHAM NORTH ELHAM 4/44 Barn about 40 metres south of Parsonage Farmhouse GV II Barn. C18. Timber framed, weatherboarded, on brick plinth. Hipped corrugated iron roof. 4 timber-framed bays with front and rear aisles. Midstrey in second timber-framed bay from right. Porch with lean-to corrugated iron roof, rising from aisle, with double doors, weatherboarded above. Small door to right of porch. Low door to rear. Interior: cut jowls to principal posts. Arch-braced tie-beams and arcade plates. Clasped-purlin common-rafter roof. Jowled aisle wall-posts. Curved braces between aisle tie-beams and backs of arcade posts. Almost straight tension braces to studded aisle walls. Outer tension braces to right gable end. Face-halved arcade-plate scarf joint. Listing NGR: TR1830744626
