Farmhouse. Early C17, with early C19 facade. Timber framed. Front elevation red and grey brick in a mixed bond. Exposed framing with ' brick infilling to right gable end. Plain tile roof. Lobby-entry plan of two extant timber-framed bays and possibly a stack bay. 2 storeys on flint and stone plinth. Underbuilt continuous jetty. Right gable end has gunstock-jowled corner posts, full-height central post, two first-floor tension braces, broadly-spaced studding, and intermediate rails at uneven levels forming two panels per storey. Steeply-pitched hipped roof. Multiple red and grey brick stack to right of centre. Regular 3-window front of two recessed three-light casements; and central single-light casement. Segmental heads to ground-floor windows. Central boarded door (slightly left of stack), with segmental head, up two steps. Brick rear lean-to to left. Short two-storey red and grey brick rear wing to right with plain tile roof. Interior: only partly inspected. Exposed framing to left ground-floor room, with chamfered axial beam and joists, and cross beam in front of stack. Brick floor. Large brick fireplace with wooden bressumer bearing date 16(0/1?)7. Edge-halved wall-plate scarf joint.
