Roman barrow, W side of Stone Street, 1/2 mile (800m) N of Round Down Wood
Barrow in good condition. Stands in a small copse adjoining the Roman road. It is the only untouched barrow in the south east of Britian.{1}
Barrow stands about 10 ft. off the road to west of Stone Street on patch of rough ground in front of farm sheds. It is circular and stands 10-12ft in height. Copse no longer exists.{2}
Round barrow approx 3m high in corner of garden.{3}
