Description
Palaeolithic sites near Baker's Hole (close to Ebsfleet International Station)
Area bounded by a quarry cliffe where partial excavation in 1970-1 revealed rich deposits of fauna and bone and flint artefacts of the Eemian Interglacial Period; also evidence for a skin tannery. Now the most important site in the area.
