RAMSGATE HARBOUR PARADE TR 3864 NE (north side) 14/149 The Queen's Head GV II Public house. 1908. Red brick with yellow blue and green glazed terra- cotta. Three storeys with recessed ground floor and pilasters supporting cornice, plaster strip quoins with moulded string courses, and projecting centrepiece on 2nd floor with modillion cornice to segmentally pedimented gable with Lion finial and with scrolled parapet. Secondary elevation to right over yard entry, also with pilaster quoins and pilasters, moulded string course and pierced and scrolled parapet. Stacks to left and to right. The pedimented gable surmount panels of enriched foliate moulded brickwork with a central medallion. Keyed round headed sashes to left and right and central tripartite wooden casement on 2nd floor, 2 French windows with semi-circular fanlights in keyed surrounds on 1st floor with bowed honeysuckle-pattern iron balcony. Right hand block with keyed round-headed sash on 2nd floor and sash in projecting frame with cornice on brackets to 1st floor. Plain yard entry with double boarded gates, in foliated glazed tile surround with frieze. Pub entrance to left, a large segmentally headed recess to ground floor, richly moulded in glazed tiles, with large segmental bow, with tiled aprons to large mullioned and transomed windows. Central double half-glazed doors to centre, with imitation doors to left and to right. Interior: fine glazed tile dado and panelled interior with central bar.
