Vale Square was to be a square with 3 rows of 4 storey houses and central garden, all to be built by William Saxby, the plan amended 1846 to allow Saxby to build Christ Church (by G.G. Scott) on the western side of the Vale. Eleven houses were built 1841-46, a further 5 by March 1850, completing the development. (See Busson, Ramsgate, 127-128). Listing NGR: TR3784164799
