Description

2. Early to mid C19.  3 storeys cement rendered.  4 sashes with glazing bars intact on 2nd floor.  1 blank on 1st floor.  The ground floor has a left side cambered archway with keystone.  The ground floor has a 1 storey extension which is castellated having 4 pointed headed windows and a pointed headed door.  The doorcase underneath the archway has a cornice, pilasters, rosettes in the frieze, rectangular fanlight, panelled reveals and 6 panelled door.  4 steps to street. Charles Dickens stayed here In 184 and wrote part of Barnaby Rudge.
Nos 13 to 19 (odd) and Flint House form a group.
