Circa 1794 and Cl9.  Stock brick walls about 7 feet high on plinth and with buttresses, curving out from the walls of Gate House, and away from the gates to the perimeter wall of the park, both stretches about 10-15 metres long.  Wrought iron gates hung from capped piers with iron lamps fixed as finials.  Carriage gate, iron pier and pedestrian gate, with heavily scrolled margins and heart and honey- suckle pattern main panels.  Originally the entrance to East Cliff Lodge (for history see item 1/231 ).
