In the following item: 41/94 CHEVENING The Chatham Vase (on east side of lake near its south end) the date 1871 in line 2 should read 1781. 1. 5280 CHEVENING CHEVENING The Chatham Vase (on east side of lake near its south end) TQ 45 NE 41/94 II 2. 1780 by John Bacon. Stone urn on pedestal. Erected by Hester, Lady Chatham in 1871 in memory of her husband. Inscriptions tell of the vase's subsequent travels from Burton Pynsent, to Stowe in 183l, to Revesby in 1857 and finally to Chevening in 1934. Listing NGR: TQ4871757714
