LEIGH LIEIGH 1, 5280 Ensfield Road (West Side off) Killick's Bank TQ 54 SW 54/660 II 2. late mediaeval hall house with alterations. 2 storeys and attic, 4 windows, very irregular. Very high pitched hipped tiled roof with ridge gablets and later compound stack. Gabled right end implies demolition of one bay. Visible timber framing with plaster filling. Modernised gabled front projection, with Cl7 timber work inside, partly half-timbered, partly brick. Small modern leaded casements. Rear elevation of tile hanging and brick. Inside much exposed timber, including plank and muntin dais panelling with embattled beam over; and square crown post in attic.
