Description
FARNINGHAM SPAREPENNY LANE 1. 5280 The Mount TQ 5467 9/137 1.6.67 II GV
2. Circa 1820. Two storeys, semi-basement and attics. Faced with buff bricks. Painted stringcourses. Parapet. Gabled slate roof with one dormer. Three windows. Round-headed windows on all floors with glazing bars intact. Wide porch up 7 steps, with fluted Doric columns and pediment. Round-headed doorway in this with semi-circular fanlight. The north-east front has 2 windows and 2 large tripartite curved bays on the ground floor with tent-shaped canopies over them.
