SEVENOAKS KIPPINGTON ROAD TQ 55 SW 4/153 No 88 The Lodge GV
Former lodge to Churchill Court. c.1900 by Thomas Potter enlarged and altered by Imrie and Angell c.1926. Original building of stone with tiled roof and brick chimney-stacks. Apsidal ended. 2 storey gabled feature with box framing to 1st floor and pierced barge-boarding with pendant. 1st floor has wooden mul- lioned and transomed casement. Ground floor has stone mullioned and transomed bay and similar windows to apse. In the 1920's a tile hung bay was added to the right hand side with recessed plank door and apsidal end with mullions to echo existing building. Rear elevation has part stone, part brick ground floor and tile hung 1st floor.
