The Kentish Rifleman Public House

Hall-house now, public house. Originally a C16 hall-house, but with many C17-C20 additions. Painted rendered north front towards road, but with some exposed framing to west and south. Plain tiled hipped roof with gablets and ridge stack. North front. Projecting gabled wing to right of centre, tile-hung on first floor to west. Roof of main block extended to form catslides either side of north wing. Partly 2-storey, partly one-storey with attic; irregular fenestration of C19 casements. Two boarded doors, one in end of north wing, and one beside wing to left. One-storey to south-west and to east, this last long and low.
