House, formerly 2 cottages. Probable C16 3-bay lobby entrance house restored C20. Timber-framed building, the left part close-studded on ragstone plinth. Tiled roof. Gable has 4-light mullioned window. 1st floor has two 2-light mullioned windows and ground floor has large window flanked by 2 small mullioned windows. Right-hand part close-studded with two 2-storey gabled bays. 2 brick chimneystacks including external brick-chimneystack to right-hand side. Rear wing of 1930s. Interior has Dining Room with chamfered axial beam with lamb's tongue stop. Open fireplace with chamfered beam and C16 brickwork. Service end has open fireplace and 3-plank doors. 1st floor has jowled posts. Some original mullioned windows survive on 1st floor. Queen post roof with through purlins and collar beam. Some curved braces. No ridgepiece. 1930s butler's pantry.
