Description

TQ65SW HADLOW ASHES LANE 3/10009 North Frith House, Ladies Bathing Box GV II Ladies Bathing Box. Either built c1889 by George Friend or slightly earlier. Kentish ragstone rectangular structure built on to circular cement bathing pool, with tiled roof with ridge tiles and end finials. Plank doors in end gable. On one side steps descend into the water behind a screen wall pierced by a pointed arch. Interior has wooden benches on two sides. Recommended for completeness and extreme rarity of building type.
