EAST MALLING & LARKFIELD MILL STREET TQ 65 NE (south side) 7/170 Elizabeth Smith Almshouses 9.6.78 (formerly listed as Nos 131-139 (odd)) - II Almshouses. Dated 1827. Red brick on plinth which is part rendered to left. Central gabled projection. Slate roof with central return gable and end gable- parapets and kneelers. 2 stacks off-slope to front, central stack at rear. 2 storeys; 5 bays, Gothick glazed double casements in gauged headed openings. Single casements either side of pointed arched door, with studded boarded and ribbed door. Dated 1827 on plaque at rear. Listing NGR: TQ7012457090
