Small house, originally a pair of cottages. Circa 1700 with 1830s alterations. Flemish bond brick to the ground floor, the first floor tile- hung; peg-tile roof; brick stack.
Plan: Roadside house, facing approximately east. Originally a pair of adjoining 2-cell cottages, each with a principal room to the front heated from end stacks with integral rear outshuts and entrances in the centre facing the stairs.
Exterior: 2 storeys and attic. Mansard roof with sprochetted eaves, gabled at ends; projecting end stacks, the left hand stack larger with tile-hung set- offs. Symmetrical 4-window east front with 2 first floor 3-light casements with diamond leaded panes, a pair of similar 2-light ground floor casements in the centre flanked by pairs of 1-light casements to left and right. The left return has a first floor oriel window with iron casements. C20 porch on right return with a hipped roof.
Interior: There have been some alterations to the plan including the removal of the partition between the outshut and principal room at the south end and the removal of the southern staircase. Exposed carpentry, the main beams and south fireplace lintel bead-moulded.
Roof: Clasped purlin roof with considerable repair. An attractive roadside house, group value with Nos 35 and 36 (q.v.).
