BURHAM 1347/0/10020 Boundary stone of the City of Rochester 09-NOV-01 II Boundary stone. 1799 and 1896. This comprises a square boundary stone with rounded cap dated 1799 which marked the limit of the jurisdiction of the City of Rochester Admiralty Court along the River Medway. In 1896 this structure was re-erected above a large stone plinth with moulded pediments on each side, moulded base and carved roundel of galleon in full sail on one side. It is called Hawkwood Stone on the OS map. Listing NGR: TQ7275062044
